Rebekah O’Donoghue

Research Associate

Rebekah O’Donoghue is a Research Associate in MDRC’s Young Adults and Postsecondary

Education policy area. Her work has focused in large part on randomized controlled trials of CASS (Comprehensive Approaches to Student Success) programs, notably Detroit Promise Path. In a collaboration between MDRC, the Detroit Regional Chamber, and five Detroit community colleges, the Detroit Promise Path project evaluated the impact of adding comprehensive student support services to the Detroit Promise scholarship program. Currently, Rebekah is supporting colleges in using data to support continuous program improvement through the Expanding SUCCESS project. Before joining MDRC in 2016, O’Donoghue worked in mental health and homelessness services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Bryn Mawr College and a master’s degree from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
