Ashley Logan
Director of College Advising for I Know I Can
Ashley Logan is the Director of College Advising for I Know I Can, Central Ohio’s only college accessorganization. Ashley has worked in the college admissions and college access field for over a decade andin her current role, she manages I Know I Can’s college and career readiness work in Columbus City Schools while supervising a team of college access professionals. Ashley builds and maintains relationships among the district’s school counselors, administrators, staff, and community partners. Prior to Ashley’s work with I Know I Can, she worked at several higher education institutions in Michigan and Kentucky. Ashley has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a concentration in Race, Class, and Gender Inequalities from the University of Michigan. Ashley is married and a mother of two young boys. Additionally, she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Alpha Sigma Omega Chapter in Columbus, Ohio. Ashley is a member of American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), where she serves as an ACLU of Ohio board member and sits on the Audit
committee, the Facilities Task Force committee, and the Equity committee. Ashley is also a member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC) and the Ohio Association of College Admissions Counseling (OACAC), where she previously served as a Delegate, and she currently serves as the co-chair of the Black and African Diaspora Special Interest Group. Ashley is a graduate of Leadership Columbus’ Signature Program and Bank of America’s Neighborhood Builders Emerging Leader Leadership Program. As a parent, Ashley serves on Gahanna-Jefferson School District’s Equity & Access Committee and Strategic Planning Committee. Lastly, Ashley is a certified SPENGA fitness instructor.
